The Day of the Accident

It was a sunny day and I could see all the people playing in the grass.  I was eleven years old, and I was in central park with my mom and my sister.  I told my sister that I could beat her in a race.  When we started running, I was already winning.  All of a sudden I tripped over a rock.

After I felt down, my left hand hurt because I injured my thumb.  When I fell down, I felt a lot of pain.  Meanwhile, I though to myself, "Why does this have to happen to me?"  My sister helped me to stand up from the floor.  My arm still hurt.  Next, I told my mom what happened.

In conclusion, the lesson I learned was that you always have to watch out where you are stepping.  You have to be careful when your racing.
