                                    The Graduation Picture

Walking through the blue double doors I went outside, with my family and friends not to far behind. Out of the school we held our fifth grade graduation I saw parked cars everywhere. In front of me was a flood of people that included students, teachers and parents.

As I strolled down the flight of steps in my marshmallow white dress I heard the laughter between the parents and teachers. I also heard the cries of the graduates yelling “ i’ll miss you!” “ bye” “ let me give you my e mail”. Finally, as I reached the last step I can across my fifth grade teacher, Kevin Won.

“ Can we take a picture?” “ Sure” he replied smoothly. When we finally got our pose together my older brother snapped the picture of me and Kevin. From that day on that picture still lays on my albums in Facebook. With me and Kevin who wore a pink collared shirt with khakis and a silky black tie. As I graduate more grades I will always remember my fifth grade picture. I would never forget my second family.

Looking back now I see the importance of family. I haven’t seen most of my friends from fifth grade in like 2 years. And I really miss them. Cherish every moment you have with your family before it’s over.
