A Bad Experience

The line was half a mile long. Me and my dad were waiting to go on the Tower of Terror, in Disney World, Florida. The line went up a big rocky hill and into an deserted hotel. Once we got inside, it was tan and pink on the walls, like old stylished. They took us and a bunch of strangers into a room that led to the “basement.”

The line was even longer in the “basement.” Then it happened. After 1 hour and 45 minutes of waiting, we got on. I hated the ride even before it started. The seat belt went across your waist, barely holding you in. All you had to hold onto was little handles beside you. “Luckily” me and my dad got stuck n the front; which I hated.

Then the ride started. We went up one floor. The doors opened. Then the second floor. The doors opened into a long dark hallway, and we started moving through it. Then I saw a big green light. When it pated, the “elevator” dropped. I’ve never been so scared in my life. Even though it lasted about one minute, I will never go on it again.

The ride went up and down so fast. When you got to the very top, you were 7 stories high. It went from 7 to 2, 2 to 5, 5 to 6, 6 to 4, and 4 to ground level. At ground level is when it stopped. My dad got up but I could not. I was shaking so hard I could not move.

I found out when we got to the hotel that I had elevator phobia; because once I step inside an elevator, I tremble on the inside all over again. Today when I step inside an elevator, the inside of me shakes so much that I feel like the elevator is going to drop. I might be scared of elevators, but that doesn't keep me from getting in one. But today, when I look back on the moment, I know that it was the worst day of my life.
