“You don’t have the guts to go on that water slide” my cousin yelled.

“Yes I do stupid” I screamed. At first when I saw it, I felt brave and like it was not scary at all.

This is a piece of cake.” I mumbled. I was waiting on line to go on it.

“Oh my god” I puffed. As soon as I got up the stairs I wanted to go back down but the only way down was the slide. It was so high that you could see the whole park. I’m crazy, I thought, even looking at the water gave me the shivers. I knew that I had to go down the slide because everybody was waiting to go. I took a deep breath, then I sat down on the slide. I had a tight grip on the handle like there was no tomorrow.

"What the heck am I doing” I hurled. I heard the people talking about how slow I was taking. Then I released the handle. My heart felt like it wanted to come out of my chest. I was screaming so much that my lung felt like it was going to drop. I believe that all the people waiting on the stairs heard screaming from my mouth. When I fell into the pool I was still screaming at least I thought I was. It felt like I was still falling from the sky. It felt like that was the only ride I ever went on and you know when you have your first experience it is scary. I was too scared to swim so I tried to walk but the floor was to slippery & the water kept pushing me back so I yelled for help. All I saw was my idiot brother pointing and laughing at me because the I needed help. The guard came to get me. Then my brother was laughing even more because he was mesmerized at how my face looked.

“When I come out I am going to slap you” I yelled.

“If you can catch me” he replied.

“Oh trust me, I will” I said. I did what I said I was going to do, I caught him then slapped him, but then he threw me back inside the water, I was really mad because at that point I was dry & I was warm then he just threw me in the water. Now that’s not fair is it, so I had payback. The plan was for me to punch him in the face, I think that is a wonderful plan don’t you? but I had to act like I tripped then punch him so I wouldn’t get in trouble with my mom, [Rica you are a clever young lady] .I went up to him and threw myself acting like I fell then punch him in the face. I bet it hurt because I hit him directly in the face. All I did was laugh “Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha ” then I tried to say sorry but I couldn’t because it was so funny that I could not stop laughing.

“WHY DID YOU DO THAT!” my mom screamed.

“That happened by accident", I said as an excuse.

“NO YOU DID NOT RICA I KNOW YOU” she said.

“AH,AH, maybe you don’t" I mumbled.

“WHAT DID YOU SAY’’ she yelled.

“Nothing” I said with fear.

“That’s what I thought" my mom responded.
